Daniel Gas Ultrasonic The Benefits Of Combination Of Reflective And Direct Path
Author(s): Thomas Sautier
Abstract/Introduction:
Customers worldwide have adopted Ultrasonic flow measurement for Custody Transfer Gas Measurement Multi Path technology with generally either 100% Chordal or 100% Reflective paths configuration provides the best achievable calibrated accuracy... Both have Pros and Cons. Even if fiscal metering & dirty gas doesnt go together well, the reality in the field is different. During operation, uncertainties due to process change, possible contamination, liquid & wet gas can be an issue. Emerson Daniel has 25 years of experience with both Chordal & Reflective technology and believe combination of best of both worlds can help

Reynolds Number Based Proving
Author(s): Ton Leenhoven Erwin Doorenspleet Reinhold Bietzker
Abstract/Introduction:
Coriolis flow meters have long been recognized to be largely immune to variable process and installation conditions when compared to other metering technologies like turbine - and ultrasonic flow meters High viscosity fluids develop a laminar flow inside the mass meter tubes, forming boundary layers where there thickness depend upon the fluid viscosity and that do not directly like to follow the oscillating motion of the measuring tube In the contrary to most flow velocity sensors such as turbine meter or ultrasonic flow meters, the coriolis meters are not affected by the flow profile belonging to laminar or turbulent regimes.
