The Effect Of High Water Cuts On Liquid Ultrasonic Meters(An Overview)
Author(s): T. Cousins
Abstract/Introduction:
Much of the data is derived from tests conducted by Cameron. In particular work by Dr. Gregor Brown in this area must be acknowledged. In particular the paper: Oil/Water Tests on a 4-Path Ultrasonic Meter at Low Flow Velocities 24th International North Sea Flow Measurement Workshop 24th - 25th October 2006

The Development Of Water In Oil Flow Line For Testing Mixers, Samplers And Flow Meters
Abstract/Introduction:
This conference is about Ultrasonic flowmeters, generally being used for custody transfer measurement. We tend to think of this as operation in a single phase fluid. More and more meters are being used with larger quantities of water mixed in the oil. The issues become: How do they perform How do we determine the quantity of water in oil The latter determination is one of the Cinderella part of measurement, without an accurate determination it will not matter how good the performance of the USM

What Is Ceesmart And How Does It Benefit Me?
Author(s): John Lansing
Abstract/Introduction:
CEESmaRT is much more than a traditional Condition Based Monitoring System CBMS systems provide warnings when USM diagnostics are out of range CEESmaRT does monitor all aspects of the USM, but goes much further It monitors, and trends, all aspects of the meter stations health, including: All USM diagnostics Pressure and temperature transmitters (all of them) Series and parallel flow rates Verifies the flow computers actual and corrected flow values Verifies the GC operation and provides real-time SOS comparisons Verifies the USM configuration, and many other aspects of the USM All of these features reduce measurement uncertainty and site visits Think of CEESmaRT as a Complete Measurement Verification System (CMVS) Every aspect of the meter facility is monitored and trended All of this is accomplished without the need for site visits
