Abstract: This conference is about Ultrasonic flowmeters, generally being used for custody transfer measurement. We tend to think of this as operation in a single phase fluid. More and more meters are being used with larger quantities of water mixed in the oil. The issues become: How do they perform How do we determine the quantity of water in oil The latter determination is one of the Cinderella part of measurement, without an accurate determination it will not matter how good the performance of the USM
