Abstract: Positive Displacement Meters and Turbine Meters are most commonly used for Custody Transfer applications of hydrocarbons. These meters produce good repeatability at a given set of flow conditions however, they produce errors based on changes in flow rate, specific gravity, temperature, viscosity, wearing of parts, buildup of foreign matter, etc.
