Abstract: Over the past two decades, ultrasonic flow meters have rapidly gained a wide acceptance. The main reasons for this are the high repeatability combined with zero pressure loss and extended diagnostic features. During this period, meters with different path configurations have been put into the market, each of them trying to obtain the highest accuracy and numerous papers have been published on the performance of these meters at the calibration laboratories.
