Abstract: At the first called meeting of the Approved Methods Committee it was found that there was considerahle confusion and uncertainty regarding the territory to i)e covered by the committee, the extent of its work, and its connection with other associations. A great deal of this trouble was due to the fact that practically all of the members of the committee were also members of the meter and regulator committee of the Natural Gasoline Association. After various conferences and exchange of correspondence, the matter was finally cleared up late in the fall so that progress could be made.
