Abstract: Calibration of most flow meters is considered to be an important and necessary step in delivering a high quality and accurate meter s to end user s . Such calibrations are crucial for ultrasonic flow meters which will be used in custody transfer applications. Selecting the correct facility for the calibration has historically involved finding a lab that could match both the pipe size of the meter as well as cover the range of flow rates necessary to verify the meter over the application range
