This paper is intended for those persons vho are new to L.A.C.T. units and hopefully will jet them started. L.A.C.T. is an acronym for .ease Automatic Custody Transfer. These units are jsed in the automatic measurement of crude oil vhen it is transferee from the producer to a purchaser or to account for product within the same company.
