Abstract: Roundup Field has been in use as a gas storage field since 1979 when it was acquired by Western Gas Supply Company (WestGas). The field provides a reliable means of supplying gas to utility customers in Colorado. In 1990, the use of the field was expanded to include contract gas storage. The demand for contract storage has increased recently and this necessitated a closer look at expanding the capacity of the field.
