Abstract: Advantages and disadvantages are compared for a dozen oil well proration satellite liquid testing design alternatives by ease of use, cost-effectiveness and accuracy. Alter natives are listed for separators with various liquid meter, piping and sampler combinations as well as for test tanks, each with specific application parameters for conventional and heavy oil operations.
