Abstract: The density of any pure gas or mixture of gases varies with pressure and temperature. A knowledge of the relation among the density, pressure, and temperature of a gas is required in the solution of many problems involving the storage or flow of gases. The purpose of this paper is to discuss some of the methods for determining the behavior of gases and to review the theory behind the methods.
