Abstract: Why multi-path? Flow profile distortion under normal process conditions causes ultrasonic flow meters the either under report or over report the measured volumetric flow. Multipath ultrasonic flow meters can provide a measurement while maintaining within their uncertainty as compared to single path ultrasonic measurement solutions. Multi path meters can also provide a window into the changing process conditions by presenting multitudes of diagnostics and calculations beyond the flow measurement.
