Abstract: Electrolytic generation of bromine as a titrating reagent for measurement of sulfur compounds in the gaseous phase was Introduced to industry nearly twenty years ago. With the development of transistor slectronics and the discovery of a prac- :ical coulometric bromine sensing slectrode system, a new, wide range lectrolytic titrator was developed and lesigned to meet the specific requireaents for continuous sulfur monitoring.
