Abstract: Based on the current stateof- the-at of proving with prover for industrias size meters, the decision was made to develop a sonic prover for domestic meters. Meter proving is generally accomplishdd using two flow rates referred to as openl and check. For the conventional domestic or house type meter, these flows are 175 and 50 cubic feet per hour (CFH) respectivlly.
