Abstract: An autoranging microprocessor based AC/DC transfer standard is described. The transfer element is a differential multijunction thermal converter. Software compensation for minimizing residual AC/DC transfer error is provided over the frequency range from 40 Hz to 1 Mhz (plus DC) and over the voltage range from 0.1 to 1000 volts rms. Achievable accuracy is in the order of 20 ppln to 500 ppm depending on the voltage and frequency.
