Abstract: The use of chordal path ultrasonic meters is becoming more prevalent as the technology is maturing. Using these types of electronic measuring devices requires some thought regarding the installation conditions and factors that may affect the meters in-field performance. This paper discusses the recent testing performed using high pressure Natural Gas at the CEESI Iowa Natural Gas Test Facility on a chordal path transit time Ultrasonic Flow Meter. Enable Midstream Partners flow calibrate every ultrasonic meter used for fiscal purposes at the CEESI facility
