Abstract: Automatic Chart Changers were developed to allow the unattended operation of circular chart recording instruments for extended periods of time while still providing for timely changing of the charts. Use of automatic chart changers reduces operating costs, and improves the uniformity and accuracy of recording periods, thus simplyfing the chart processing and gas accounting.
