Abstract: PURPOSE: The purpose of this paper is to review fundamentals of Fixed Factor Pressure Measurement. BASICS: Since the density of natural gas is affected by temperature and pressure, a standard unit of measure is defined at a pressure called standard base pressure and temperature. A cubic foot of gas at standard pressure and temperature conditions is called a standard cubic foot (SCF).
