Abstract: In order to satisfy the requirements of a specific regulator installation, it is imperative that the proper regulator be selected to do the job. Before selecting a regulator for any application, the conditions at which the regulator will operate must be investigated. Optimum operation can be attained only by proper selection of regulation equipment and the use of an effective maintenance program to prolong the length of acceptable service.
