Abstract: The use of Coriolis based mass flow meters and turbine meters is well known in the oil industry for measurement of bulk fluids (two and three phase) exported from their central processing facilities. Large flow rates and the presences of gas in the flow affect the measurement accuracy and performance of these meters. A typical solution for the same is to use a large sized three phase multiphase meter as done by PDO in its Amal field.
