Abstract: This paper presents information about applications of flow computers in the oil and gas industry for (a) Upstream Production, (b) Midstream Pipeline, and (c) Downstream Refining, Process plants, and Chemical Plants. Different applications in those three areas are presented in this paper. Some of the applicable standards are discussed and examples of few hardcopy print out of the flow computer are presented to provide some idea about the capabilities of the Flow Computers.
