Abstract: Natural gas quality measurement requires a variety of instrumentation, only one of which is the gas chromatogaph. The sale of natural gas is performed on the basis of the heating value per unit volume of the gas (MMBtu). For this reason, proper sampling and/or portable on-line instruments is not only needed but is essential.
