Abstract: Ultrasonic meters based on the transit time principle have a number of recognised benefits relative to more traditional methods of flow measurement. In recent years a new generation of ultrasonic meters have emerged and the technology is now being widely accepted for custody transfer applications in the oil and gas industry.
