Abstract: Proving meters can consume a significant portion of a pipeline operators workday. Short batches do not allow much time to do the recommended five proving runs for several meters. Meters with artificially generated pulse trains are difficult to prove and often do not work well with the traditional proving algorithms. Uncertainty - based proving can help with both of these situations by understanding when a valid meter factor has been obtained.
