Abstract: A practical, meaningful, and comprehensive training program in an appropriate learning environment is essential to fully develop the human resource.(1) This statement is particularly applicable to field measurement personnel in the natural gas industry. Natural gas measurement is a very specialized and technical field and todays measurement technician must have a broader and more detailed knowledge of a vast variety of equipment. Comprehensive training of field measurement personnel becomes of paramount importance.
