Abstract: This paper focuses on some of the challenges, problems and uhimate rewards that will be earned when the total engineering profession goes metric. First, however, as a good engineer, let us state the ground rules, or requirements to which we design, We will assume that the argument To go or not to go metric has been settled, whether we liked it or not, and many of us are In that last category.
