Abstract: This paper presents an overview of the impact of temperature, pressure, and other factors on natural gas metering accuracy. Metering accuracy is a vast topic. Although some of the general measurement principles described here are applicable to most gas metering installations, the focus of this paper is on high volume devices such as turbine, ultrasonic, and Coriolis meters.
