Abstract: The subject natter of this paper will deal primarily with the field testing and maintenance of large positive displacement meters. This is one of the nost important functions in the industry as of course the revenue derived fron these meters is dependent upon the accuracy with which the gas is measured. The cost of field testing and maintenance is an operating exoense which must be deducted from these revenues, therefore, it is imnortant that the testing program be continually reviewed and improved, taking full advantage of any and all technological advances available.
