Title: Gas Sampling Methods, And The Fundamental Causes Of Gas Sample Distortion - API 14.1 Research Class 282

Abstract: The intrinsic value of natural gas (heating value), and the delivery rate (flow rate) both depend, in general, on the measured composition. Heating value is a composition-dependent gas property, and flow rate measured from orifice, turbine, ultrasonic, rotary, diaphragm, and other flow meters require composition-dependent gas properties like density, sound speed, isentropic exponent, viscosity, etc.
