Title: Numerical Simulation and Analysis of the Measurement Performance for Sonic Nozzle under High Pressure Real Gas

Abstract: Firstly, the flow field in two kinds of sonic nozzles with throat diameters of 10mm and 0.96mm and downstream pipeline are numerically simulated by CFD. The simulation results show that the static pressure in the downstream pipeline will fluctuate sharply when the back pressure ratio is small. Then, based on the real gas equation of Redlieh-Kwong, the contrastive equation for compressibility coefficient of high pressure natural gas is derived. Finally, the Mach number characteristics of high pressure natural gas in the sonic nozzle are obtained by numerical simulation.
