Abstract: Over the past 40 years, instrumentation technology has produced an evolution of advancing gas measuring techniques moving from the local clock drive circular charts with integrator, into use of the local flow computing remote terminal units with data being collected, transmitted by satellite, and massaged by the gas control host computer.
