Abstract: As the natural gas industry has evolved to operate in a competitive, worldwide business environment, demands on automation and measurement equipment have substantially increased. Recentlyintroduced instruments have stepped-up to meet the business demands of the natural gas industry. This paper provides an update on a few key measurement and control instrumentation developments which are applicable to pipelines.
