Abstract: Accuracy in gas measurement has always been of utmost importance in i n d u s t r y however, as gas s u p p l i e s have decreased and the value of the product has gone up, the means for even more a c c u r a t e methods of measurement have been sought. The development of the gas shortage has brought about the i n t r o d u c t i o n of the c o n t r a ct with maxirauiD allowable d a i l y volumes and the providing of r a t h e r severe p e n a l t i e s for exceeding the a l l o w a b l e s . This c r e a t e s a need for d i s p a t c h e r s to know what the flow p i c t u r e is from minute to minute.
