Abstract: Whenever we are involved in sizing, selecting, purchasing, installing and maintaining regulators, many variables are reviewed and considered. Once the Fundamental Principles of Self-Operated Regulators are better understood our jobs become simplified. There are two basic types of control methods - the self-operated regulator and the relay operated regulator.
