Abstract: Automatic chart changers have been available to users of circular charts since 1958. The first commercial installations of the Dial-O-Graph automatic chart changers recorded occurred in early 1959. To date, there have been over 23,000 of this brand manufactured. Some transmission companies have purchased well over 2,000 automatic chart changers, At this time there are three companies manufacturing automatic chart changers. They are The Mullins Manufacturing Co., Inc., Texas Instrument Engineers, Inc., and Reynolds Equipment Company.
