Title: Field Experience With Rotary Meters
Author: William J. Teliska

Abstract: The rotary type gas meter has been in commercial use since the early 1900s. For a utility its primary application is to fill the flow capacity gap between the small diaphragm meter and the larger turbine and orifice meters. In production fields, it provides a base for custody transfer and well head measurement systems. When sized, installed, and maintained properly, the rotary meter will provide very accurate measurement for many years of service.
