Abstract: In the early 1960s, a large gas horizon was developed in eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas. As this play progressed, it was dubbed the Arkhoma Basin. An Oklahoma Natural Gas Company subsidiary laid a medium-diameter pipeline to cooperatively transport large gas volumes to the Tulsa market area. Southern terminus with major gas input was at Red Oak, Oklahoma: a larger and final input was 20 miles northwest near Kinia, Oklahoma. Total throughput of pipeline is approximately 160 MMSCFD and line length is 90 miles - 20 miles of 18-inch to the south and remaining 70 miles of 22-inch to north from Kinta vicinity. Inlet pressure is approximately 775 psig and outlet is 625 psig.
