Abstract: Today in a time of increasingly serious shortages of gas supplies and with the rising value of energy and feed stocks, more effort is being directed toward precise measurement of gas flow. In the past, if gas was lost for one reason or another, the monetary affects were not substantial. Today, this same amount of gas costs many times more than it did in the past, and gas loss cannot be recovered as cannot the value of that gas.
