Abstract: The electronic interface between flow meters and flow computers takes a couple of different forms (i.e. a current loop proportional to flow rate, a voltage loop proportional flow rate, or electronic pulses representing a volume). For the remainder of this paper we are going consider only the electronic pulse interface. These electronic pulses are typically generated by a change in voltage and take the form of a square wave similar to those shown in Figure 1.
