Abstract: With few exceptions, gas pressure reducing regulators can either be classified as self-operated or pilot operated. Our purpose is to become familiar vwth pilot operated regulators and the various forms they may take. However, it is important that first the basics of self operated regulators are covered for comparative purposes.
