Abstract: The purpose of this presentation is to explain some of the considerations that go into planning and executing a portable gas supply operation using Liquified Natural Gas (LNG). Gas utility personnel have been safely performing portable LNG operations in the United States since the 1970s. Transgas, National Grid, and many other gas utilities and pipelines that have used portable LNG for planned maintenance outages for several decades.
