Title: Industrial And District Regulators

Abstract: Industrial and district regulators include such a broad range of available types and sizes as to defy classification. They are designed for stable operation, wide flow range, high capacity, accurate control, and safety. The majority of industrial regulators operate with inlet pressures below 125 psi and flows beyond the range of service regulators. Often they are used in applications involving very high or low pressure differentials, wide range control, or where capacity may be of secondary importance to measurement accuracy. In a given instance, certain requirements often far outweigh others in importance, resulting in the choice of a specialized design offering desired advantages.
