Abstract: On July 1, 1982, Algonquin Gas Transmission Company began billing its customers based on electronically generated custody transfer volumes. What I want to accomplish here today is to describe to you the impact this had on the gas dispatcher. In order to meet my objective, I am going to give you a brief description of Algonquin, what led to the decision, where we were coming from, what we did to prepare, and how we are living with what we did.
