Abstract: TX Single Burner 100 MMSCFD LNG vaporizers have been installed and operated for the first time in the United States at both a baseload and a peak shaving LNG facility. This paper discusses the design, operation, performance, economics, and safety features of the TX vaporizer at the TRUNKLINE, Lake Charles, La., LNG Baseload Terminal, and at the Northern Indiana Public Service, LaPorte, Indiana, LNG Peak Shaving Facility.
