Abstract: Companies today are grappling with how to provide quality environmental training to operating personnel in an efficient and cost effective manner. Each company faces the challenge of providing quality, value-added environmental training to operating personnel who are diverse in cultural background, educational experience, and geographic location. The Environmental Leadership Program at El Paso Natural Gas (EPNG) is an innovative approach to using in-house personnel to address this critical challenge. The program is designed to provide operating personnel with specific comprehensive environmental training developed by EPNG for EPNG.
