Abstract: In the Mountain Fuel distribution system, our use of transducers has been very limited. We installed our first transducers about four years ago. They consisted of two pressure and one differential transducer used on a compressor station. These gave us suction and discharge pressures and flow. The discharge transducer is also coupled to the control system for the compressors, which maintains the discharge setpoint pressure by starting and stopping the turbine engines as needed
