Abstract: The purpose of my presentation today is to review the effects that metrication has had on the gas accounting area of Great Lakes Gas Transmission Company (Great Lakes). I think you will find that the impact of the conversion is primarily psychological. Few accounting problems were encountered. Most problems were, and still are, in communication and presentation of metric data to company management.
