Abstract: The usual methods of volumetric flow measurement are inadequate at Ekofisk because of unusual operating conditions and a lack of applicable conversion factors. A computerized system which will measure directly in mass units has been selected to overcome these problems. The selected system also provides several improvements over the traditional measurement station.
