Abstract: Mass flow measurement has become the accepted method of measurement for custody transfer of natural gas fluids. Traditional volume measurement proved ineffective for the measurement of natural gas fluids due to the effects of the poorly defined properties of thermal expansion, compressibilty, and admixture shrinkage.
