Abstract: The structure and application of several commonly used pipeline temperature equations are discussed. Equations relative to pipeline temperature prediction using heat transfer and Joule-Thomson cooling are given. Two temperature equations derived by the author are presented and one of these is for temperatures equal to or less than ground temperature.
